CAD Community

Growth is not limited to just an individual – growth also comes in being in community. CAD focuses on a community environment for students, parents, and educators for children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works – Hebrews 10:24.

Connection

A sense of connection and community are an essential aspect of being fully human; children who are deaf or hard of hearing miss out on community in traditional educational systems. CAD seeks to establish this connection so that learning comes with ease.

Shared Learning

We promote the developmental needs of children by building academic, social, emotional and moral skills and values. We recognize that learning in community reinforces this attributes.

Nurturing

CAD provides a safe and nurturing environment for learning to take place for students as individuals with a focus on the importance of community.

Deaf Culture

Establishing community that meet students where they are and focuses on building a strong visual first language, ASL, and adds English as a second language primarily in print.

Honoring Deaf Culture

In 1988 a Congressional Report tilted “Toward Equality: Education of the Deaf” recommended American Sign Language be used as the primary language of instruction with English taught as a second language

Give to CAD Today

We do not charge tuition for our students and instead rely on the generous support of local and national partners to make this education possible. Please consider how you can bless this ministry.
